When it comes to color printing, the normal mode will produce 15 pages per minute with plain paper that has an average weight of 75 gsm. If you’re looking to print photos on Epson Premium glossy photo paper, you can expect a speed of 69 seconds per photo paper, using black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. As for scanning, the single-sided scanning speed for an A4 article is about 2.4 milliseconds per line at 300 dpi, and 7.2 milliseconds per line at 600 dpi.

This particular model boasts an impressive optical resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for both horizontal and vertical dimensions. It also offers an array of output formats including BMP, PDF, JPEG, and TIFF. The contact image sensor (CIS) element is utilized for optimal performance. The main input tray has a maximum loading capacity of 100 sheets of plain paper, with the added ability of handling up to 20 photo sheets and providing borderless printing.
